Ron Feinman, founder and principal in Virginia Elder Law, PLC, is a native of Lynchburg, Virginia. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1979 and maintains a private practice serving all of Central Virginia. Raised in a legal household, Ron began practice with his father where he developed expertise in civil litigation, sophisticated real estate law, contracts and commercial law, as well as sophisticated tax and trusts and estate planning. His focus shifted to Special Needs planning and Elder Law in the late 1990’s and has been his focus ever since. Ron’s brother and cousin both practice law in Lynchburg, and he is proud that both his sons have law degrees from Washington and Lee University. His unique blend of experience and skills allows him to provide assistance to attorneys settling lawsuits across the Commonwealth whose clients need to obtain or protect governmental benefits.
Learn MorePaul Feinman has practiced in the areas of estate planning, creditors’ rights and real estate law since 1989. A Lynchburg native and resident for most of his life, Paul attended Dartmouth College and graduated from Washington & Lee School of Law in 1986. He then practiced for two years in the Litigation Department at Jackson & Kelly, a large regional law firm based in Charleston, West Virginia. Paul returned to Lynchburg in 1988 where he worked as the Law Clerk for the Hon. William E. Anderson, Judge of the U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia. After his clerkship, he re-entered private practice, focusing his practice on the creditor side of bankruptcy, and he also began developing his real estate practice, as well as a substantial estate planning practice. Since joining his brother Ron Feinman at Virginia Elder Law, PLC, he has been narrowing the focus of his practice to Elder Law and Estate Planning.
