Becoming a Client
At Virginia Elder Law and the Law Offices of Ron Feinman, becoming a client means that you actively participate in the process planning for your future, irrespective of the value of your estate. With expertise you can trust, we will tailor a plan to meet your needs and goals. Typically, the estate planning process is composed of an initial meeting, a design meeting, a signing meeting, and then a funding meeting.
In the initial meeting, we sit with you to hear your goals and get an overview of your case. In the design meeting, we will craft a trust and any necessary accompanying documents that is perfectly suited to each individual client. This could include choosing from a number of our services, including provisions for a Medicaid Asset Protection Trust, a Gun Trust, or a Living Will, for example. In the signing meeting, documents must be signed, witnessed, and notarized. Finally, in the funding meeting, our team will assist you in properly funding the trust and give you necessary follow-up information that may involve moving assets currently in your name and retitling or reassigning them to the trust.
We are dedicated to guiding you through each step of your estate planning process. Give us a call today to learn how we can help you.
