Our greatest concern before hiring Virginia Elder Law, PLC / The Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman, Esq. was my husband’s health and the very real possibility that he could need long-term skilled nursing care. We were deeply worried that the cost of that care could consume the hard-earned savings we had set aside for our retirement. We also had to face the reality that my husband might pass away within the next ten years, leaving me potentially living another twenty years with no income beyond Social Security.
From our first interactions with the firm, we felt understood and supported. We were extremely satisfied with the resolution they helped us achieve. Ron and Paul Feinman guided us through the creation of an irrevocable trust that protected a portion of our assets, ensuring that I would be financially secure in the future. Just as important, they provided us with a clear and comprehensive blueprint for our financial future, which gave us tremendous peace of mind.
What we valued most about working with this firm was their deep knowledge of elder law, their prompt and thorough responses to our questions, and their ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain, understandable language. In the past, we had experiences with attorneys who were slow to respond, arrogant, and made us feel foolish for asking questions. That was absolutely not the case here.
If I were describing Virginia Elder Law, PLC to a friend seeking similar legal advice, I would say that we were treated with the utmost professionalism, respect, and genuine compassion. We are truly grateful for their guidance and care during such an important and emotional time in our lives.
We needed to have a plan in place to protect our assets that would allow a smooth transition when the death of one of us occurred. We contacted Ron’s law firm to handle our elder care needs. Ron and his entire staff were great to work with. They understood the situation we were trying to create and found a way to make it happen. They were professional and caring as they walked us through detailed financial and legal issues. We have worked with other law firms, but none have shown the care along with the professionalism that we received working with Ron’s firm. It is a rare and unique asset that makes their firm stellar. I have since had Ron’s firm handle my mother’s estate planning and recommended friends.
I needed a new law firm to review and update my Estate Plan Documents. After attending a seminar given by Ron Feinmen, Esq, I decided to engage his services. I am satisfied with the resolution. All members of his law firm were professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with.
What we value most about your firm, is the way our questions were answered in a manner that we easily understood. The knowledge of elder care we received was outstanding. Mr. Feinman and his staff are very approachable and answered all our questions in a very professional manner. Their knowledge of elder law is quite amazing! We would highly recommend your firm to others. Thank you so much for your assistance.
In having a desire to arrange assets for a smooth, seamless handoff to our children, we engaged Ron Feinman. We found him to have decades of knowledge in estate and trust law. He is personable, direct and not intrusive in the process. He and his staff are most accommodating from beginning to end. The implementation of the plans has gone smoothly, and we are pleased with the results. We wholeheartedly recommend the Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman, Esq. for your legal needs during the aging process.
I am writing this letter to thank you for the services you have provided for my mother and family over the last year. What began with our mother being in a rehab environment changed with the COVID pandemic and ended with her being placed in long-term care.
Our greatest concern at that point was how to pay for the care she needed with the few assets she had. As is the story for most, our mother did not take the necessary steps to preplan for her future, assuming she would never need outside care. The nursing facility offered to help with the Medicaid process, but since they would be the recipients of the funds, we did not feel this was a good choice.
A family member who had worked with Ron Feinman recommended I talk to him. I immediately contacted his firm and made an appointment. Ron met with my brothers via phone and myself in a meeting to discuss the requirements of Medicaid and review my mother's financial situation. He then advised us as to what needed to be done, with the ultimate goal of getting Medicaid approval and still preserving some assets. His advice and knowledge were priceless in meeting our family’s needs.
Ron prepared all documents to bring my mother’s estate planning up to date and personally went to the nursing home to meet with my mother, including her in the process. We were more than satisfied with the services and the resolution we received from your law firm. My mother’s Medicaid was approved in a timely manner.
Dottie and Ron, you have always been there to guide me no matter how often I ask. I value the relationship we established between your firm and my family and cannot express my gratitude for all you do. I haven’t worked with a lot of law firms, but I can describe yours as professional, personal and providing a caring relationship with your clients, which is so important.
I really appreciate your help, as the process is long and tedious, and you can’t afford costly mistakes. I would gladly refer your law office to anyone needing help with not only estate planning, eldercare and Medicaid processes, but any other services you provide. Thank you again!
It was also a great pleasure to work with all of you at Virginia Elder Law. My first concern was having my estate in order to make it easy for my family in the future when that time presents itself. Attorney Feinman answered all of my concerns in a professional manner, yet he added a personal, familiar touch, which made the decision making very easy. The entire staff was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend Virginia Elder Law in assisting anyone with this very important matter. Thank you again!
Dear Ron,
I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, Dottie, and Ruby for the exceptional service that you have provided. When my father and I received the news that he had liver cancer, one of the first things that we decided to do was to seek the advice of a professional regarding Dad’s estate. Deciding to hire you was the best choice that my dad and I could have made concerning his estate planning.
Now that my Dad has passed away, it means so much knowing that you are guiding me in handling the estate and that you truly have my best interest at heart. I have also appreciated that each time I have called your office, the phone is answered by either Ruby or Dottie, rather than an answering service or menu of automated options. I can consistently depend on you and your team when I need information. Not only that, but your friendliness and warmth have made a difficult time in my life, a little less stressful.
I have told many people about the various ways that you all have advised and helped my Dad and me with Dad's estate. And, I have recommended your firm to those who I think might benefit from your services. Not only have I received expert legal advice and information regarding how to protect my late father’s estate, but I have a sense of security knowing that such a caring firm is there when I have a question or concern.
Thank you again, Ron, Dottie, and Ruby for all that you have done for my Dad and me.
It is easy to let the years slip by and forget about estate planning. I previously had a will but decided that a thorough estate plan would be beneficial for me and my heirs. Through family and friends’ recommendations and personal acquaintance I decided that Ron Feinman and Virginia Elder Law would be a good bet. I was not disappointed.
With an extremely friendly and hard-working staff an appointment was made. Ron explained in detail the estate process. He undertook a detailed questionnaire to ascertain my wishes, not just for wealth management but for health care provisions, powers of attorney and contingencies if there are changes in those you choose to guide your decisions and inheritances. He then did a detailed assessment of all assets and established a Revocable Living Trust and the other documents required to carry out my wishes.
This process requires one to do a bit of personal leg work to transfer assets to the living trust, but you are well guided through the process. After these transfers are made Ron has follow up visits to be sure all is done properly and issues copies of the Revocable Living Trust in sufficient quantity for owner of the Living Trust and all heirs. He is generous with his time in a friendly manner. He retains copies at his office if those should be needed.
There is a lot of work involved. The cost of this process is quite reasonable. At one time I whined a bit about the process of asset transfer but Ron replied “you may find it a bit hard for you, but think how hard it will be for your heirs if they have to do it when you are not here”. This is a wonderful quote for the whole estate process.
I would highly recommend Virginia Elder Law and Ron Feinman and his fine staff for your estate planning needs. I would highly recommend Virginia Elder Law and Ron Feinman and his fine staff for your estate planning needs.
Prior to hiring the Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman, Esq., I was having trouble settling my grandmother’s estate to get her on Medicaid. She was in a local nursing home, and the medical bills were “piling up”. After all my attempts I was feeling frustrated and did not know what to do at that point.
A friend of mine referred me to the Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman, Esq. because she said she had experience in dealing with this firm and highly recommended them. I called and scheduled an appointment and we went from there.
Ron and his Staff were very helpful and supportive throughout the entire process of helping me settle my grandmother’s estate and get her on Medicaid. They kept me informed through the entire process and that meant a lot since I was communicating with the nursing home and DSS. The relationship with Ron and his Staff was definitely a mutual partnership and everyone had my grandmother’s care as a top priority.
I have never worked with a group that cared so much about my grandmother’s well-being as well as mine throughout the entire process. I would describe this firm as caring, helpful, and communicative. I highly recommend the Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman, Esq. to anyone that is having elder law concerns or problems.

He was fair throughout the whole process. He laid out the plan well and left our family with no unexpected surprises. From his initial consultation and direction, he delivered as promised.
4. His law firm has set the bar high for any other firms. We would definitely desire to retain his services if and when needed in the future.
5. We would highly recommend the professional Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman to others as we have done countless times in the past three years. Our family has sent a number of potential clients to Ron. We would encourage others to look no further than the Law Offices of Ron and Paul Feinman.

Our journey started out seeking ways to protect our assets for our children. We researched several elder legal advisors and scheduled with Ron Feinman. We immediately felt at home with Mr. Feinman and his staff. They were always available for questions and provided clear and concise guidance and support. It felt like we were a team working closely to provide any legal guidance to ensure our concerns were resolved. We had trust that they really cared about building a package to ensure our needs were met. We are very pleased with the services and would recommend Ron Feinman for your legal needs. The trust he builds with his clients is second to none.
When we began the process of end-of-life planning for my dear friend, it felt overwhelming. The team at Virginia Elder Law made what could have been a very difficult experience so much easier. They guided us through every step with compassion, professionalism, and patience. From creating her will and advance directives to setting up a power of attorney, their attention to detail and care for our needs were truly exceptional. They thoroughly explained complex legal terms in a way we could understand and we felt listened to and supported. They exceeded our expectations by providing additional counsel during the sale of her home, ensuring all documentation was in order to demonstrate that the below-market sale price was fair and properly supported.
Thanks to Virginia Elder Law my friends wishes were clearly documented, and we now have peace of mind knowing everything has been handled properly. I’m deeply grateful for their expertise and kindness during such an important time in our lives. I would highly recommend their services.
I signed up for the seminar at Oakwood CC to learn more about avoiding probate and the details of qualifying for Medicaid in the future if our funds ran out. Ron's presentation was most informative, and led me to go forward with the initial meeting with Paul in your office.
Bev and I both liked Paul's informal manner and detailed outline of our options. While I initially had some confusion about doing irrevocable vs. revocable trusts, Paul was very easy to work with on sorting that out. Our subsequent meetings went well, and the detailed instructions we received along with our final two revocable trusts, wills and related health instructions were most helpful. We have used the checklists to advise our financial institutions and financial advisor of the necessary changes to our accounts and now feel we are all set. We have provided our two adult children with copies and your contact information. We also take comfort in knowing you will be there to help and advise them when the time comes for them to settle out estates. We are grateful for your help. Thanks!
My biggest concern before hiring Virginia Elder Law was to avoid probate and make my passing as easy as possible for my sons to navigate through the process of finances, inheritance, etc. Paul Feinman was very helpful and patient explaining the legalities and maneuvering through creating a revocable trust. The whole staff was accommodating, friendly, and professional.
Our financial advisor suggested we get additional legal help as we aged. Our attorney at the time suggested your law firm help us with our estate planning. We felt the need to talk to someone who was familiar with elder law and could help with our particular needs.
We found both Paul and Ron Feinman to be well versed in every aspect of the detailed journey in Estate Planning. They answered every question and were available to help as needed after the Estate Planning was completed.
We value the professional, friendly staff as well as knowing the Feinman brothers had our protection as their priority. Jim and I felt welcome and comfortable in the office as well as on the phone.
I would happily refer my aging family and friends to your firm knowing that Paul and Ron Feinman are knowledgeable as well as personable and easy to work with.
